 Cloud 9 is a Top Ten International Quartet that formed in the spring of 2008.  The quartet competed for the first time at the 2008 Area Contest and Convention in New Haven, Connecticut,  and qualified to compete at the International Contest in November in Providence, Rhode Island.  Cloud 9 also earned the Novice Quartet Award for being the highest-scoring quartet with no more than one member who has previously competed.

The quartet earned 8^th place at International and earned the Findlay Plaque, awarded to the highest-scoring novice quartet.  In the Spring of 2010, Cloud 9 will compete at the Area 3 Convention and Contest in Batavia, New York.
